A Deeper Vision

"The circumstances we ask God to change are often the circumstances God is using to change us." ~ Lucado Over the last few months, as I have boldly  prayed for God to save my actual vision, I have also prayed for my figurative vision.  Over the last few weeks, while on medical leave, I've boldly prayed for God to let me see areas of my life in which I needed improvement. What lessons did I need to learn? My family and I have had many losses this year. Each loss I've experienced has affected me in a different way. However, I've come to realize I've gained so much from each loss.  Life lessons are everywhere! I've gained a new perspective of God's family, of inclusion, of leadership, of God's love, and of Christ's example. I've gained a new stage of motherhood. I now have the role of watching all of our wonderful sons navigate life, with its ups and downs, all the while relying on God to take care of them -- instead ...
